Recruiting for Chillpoint (CHPT)

We're an old school bunch of GTA gamers that used to run/play a GTA sa:mp server back in the day. Old and new members welcome.

The crew consists of both 360 and PS3 players, which will be co-run. I'll be managing the PS3 side of the crew.

Whereas some crews focus on being gangbangers or suited Mafia, Chillpoint consisted of a variety of gangs from corrupt syndicates, Mafia, Triad, street crews, bikers and even clowns. Our gameplay is a mixture of tough competition and random craziness.

Aside from the usual missions and warfare, we'll also be running events from racing to fight club to ingame training.

We're big on organisation so you can expect our members to be both active and focused on getting the job done. We also honour our members that dive in and take responsibility and leadership and reward them with promotions.

Hey all,

Just to let you know the Crew hierarchy consists of Leader, Commissioners, Lieutenants, Representatives and Muscle.

Frank is obviously the leader. The Commissioner slots will be for players that will run the crew ingame as bosses. I'll be running the PS3 side for the European time zone. Pox will most likely run crew for the US time zone though need to confirm this with him. We'll need someone for the US time zone. Of course, more people can earn this right depending on activity.

The structure I'm going to propose is that players that used to be gang bosses can apply for Lieutenant positions and any old school CPer is entitled to a Representative position. Unless of course you'd rather just be muscle. Non-CP players can earn any rank depending on commitment, but that should give us a starting guide.

Let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions.

EDIT: oh and just to be clear that this is a clean slate. GTA Online doesn't have rules. So I don't personally care if people were perm banned or whatever. All CPers are welcome to join unless you were banned for being really really annoying haha

Hey Hans! Glad to see you're still around. I've accepted your invite so think you just need to confirm it before it will add you. I can promote you as far as Lieutenant. Frank is only one as the leader who can promote to Commissioner.

If everyone could edit their signatures to have their console ID and R* Social Club ID (as sometimes it is different). That way everyone on that platform can add one another to meet ingame.

Hey! Rockstar have just posted some more crew related info. It seems we can choose the titles for each rank/level!!!

So help us decide what to call them, at the moment they are:

Rank 1-10 = Thug

Also, there are various actions we can choose like a crew animated. There's "bro love", "the bird", "jerk" and "up yours". I've set ours to "bro love" for now.

I have joined one of my mate's crews as they're UK based and active. I've struggled to get any PS3 users together even the old CPers, who are mostly in their own crews anyway.

If someone wants to step up to run the PS3 side, I'm sure Frank can promote you to Commissioner (I can only promote as far as Lieutenant).

Frank has talked about possibly merging the forum with another crew that's looking for a place to chat to breathe new life into the forum, though early stages yet. I'll see if my mate's crew are interested in a place to chat.
