/buy ticket dive
It's /buy ticket dive, not /buy dive ticket. Doesn't really make sense but thats the way it goes. :P I'm reverting it back. congested 22:50, 4 April 2007 (CEST)
Delinking
I delinked a few things that really don't need to be linked as a wiki page isn't necessary for most things. --BrainToad 01:40, 5 April 2007 (CEST)
/taxi
Crap never added that command... also the "Additional Information/Starting Commands" could use some more work. congested 07:08, 23 April 2007 (CEST)
- we still need this :s Congested|talk|contributions 20:31, 26 April 2007 (CEST)
Server Commands or Commands
What should be the real page name and which the redirect. We need to get some unity in what we use, as some link to Server_Commands and others to Commands. Server commands sounds more 'official', but Commands is shorter and faster. --BrainToad 08:42, 23 April 2007 (CEST)
probably imo we could put Server_Commands, as you said to look more official, and probably make "commands" as a redirect page --S1lv3r_Wolf @ School 19:08, 23 April 2007 (CEST)
Commands being added in first May update
These are known commands that will be moved over to the main page after the update, there are some existing commands listed here as I intend on moving this whole section over. Please do not delete this from the talk page after they have been moved over.
Gang Commands
On the server you may create gangs with friends or people you meet. See the gang rules to make sure you and your gang are playing fair before using these commands though.
Basic Gang Commands
/help gang commands
Shows list of gang commands.
/gang create <gang-name>
Creates a gang with the name you specify. You are not allowed to use spaces when naming the gang, so make sure to include underscores or hyphens for two-word gang names. If you want the server to remember your gang you must also use: /gang save.
/gang save
After creating a gang you can choose to have the server remember it with this command. Please note that the gang will be deleted if all members have quit.
/gang invite <nick|id>
Sends an invitation to join the gang to the player you specify.
/gang join <number>
Join a gang. you need to be invited to a gang in order to join. Important: You may only join one gang at a time so be cautious about both what gangs you join and what gangs you quit. Gangs on Chillpoint are potentially permanent unlike many deathmatch/landgrub servers, so take joining a gang seriously. Make sure that the gang shares your interests and plays around the same time of day as you. When joining a gang, or accepting members, make sure you are doing so while following the "Member-Retaining Treaty" signed by biggest and most important gangs on Chillpoint.
/gang quit
To quit a gang use this command. You may only join a second gang once you quit the previous one you were in. Gangs are deleted if all members quit the gang. Important: You may only join one gang at a time so be cautious about both what gangs you join and what gangs you quit. Gangs on Chillpoint are potentially permanent unlike many deathmatch/landgrub servers, and quiting a gang may mean losing your rank and status depending on what your gang leaders decide.
Server Wide Gang Stats
These commands are helpful in seeing what other gang activity there is on the server.
/gang list
Shows you a list of all the current gangs created on the server. The list also provides the gang ID numbers.
/gang info [gang ID number]
Shows you who is in the specified gang.
Gang Rank Commands
With gangs you can set ranks for each member, and set what those ranks are capable of doing.
/gang setrank <nick|id> <0-5>
This command modifies a gang members rank in the gang. 5 is highest.
/gang rankto [<invite|usebank|setrank|usetell|kick> <0-5>]
Use this to show and/or decide the rank needed to do the things listed above. As an example, /gang rankto kick 4 would prevent gang members with a rank bellow 4 from using /gang kick.
/gang tell <time> <text ...>
Gang leaders may use this command to announce things to fellow gang members. Only the person who created the in-game gang may be the gang leader.
/gang kick <nick|id>
If someone isn't behaving you can kick him out of the gang with this command. Abuse or harassment using this command will not be tolerated by admins.
Gang Bank
Each registered gang on the server has a bank account they may use to to store money and transfer funds. This method is often helpful when transferring large amounts of money. These are the commands to use the gang bank. To use the gang's bank you must given the proper gang rank in order to do so.
/gang bank <amount>
Used to transfer money to your gang's account. You can bank money from an ATM or from a house your gang owns. However there's a transfer limit from houses. You must be given rank to use this command within a gang.
/gang withdraw <amount>

/gang balance
Shows you how much money there is in your gang's account. This command doesn't require you to be at an ATM or house to be used.
