The rules of Chillpoint are taken very seriously and anyone caught breaking rules will be punished in one or more of the following ways.

Mute
Muting is used by the admins when they feel a user is being abusive in chat and need a chance to chill out. When you are muted you may not speak in standard chat. The admin who muted you will decide when you will be unmuted, please do not PM the admins while muted.
Jail
An admin can jail you like law enforcement except when jailed by admin you must serve the maximum 5 minute sentence and you cannot bail out with money and only admins can unjail you. Jailing is usually used as a warning punishment.
Kick
Being kicked from the server means you are forced to leave, but may rejoin later. Kicking is usually used as a first warning and last warning for serious offenses. Users who are kicked should not come back to the server and begin arguing again or they may be kicked and eventually banned.
Ban
This is the most serious of all the punishments. Bans are not given out freely and if you are banned, you have lost your final chance with the admins. However, you may appeal for you ban either in the forums or the appeal tool. If an admin says your ban is permanent, then that is the final answer and you will not be unbanned.
