Las Venturas is located in the northwestern part of San Andreas. It is a desert city based on the real life city of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is home to several casinos and strip clubs. The city contains a notable freeway system, the Julius Thru-Way and Harry Gold Parkway, which intersect at two points. The Julius Thru Way also connects to freeways that go to both San Fierro and Los Santos.

Landmarks

The most notable landmarks in Las Venturas are:

• The Four Dragons Casino is a Triad owned Chinese-themed casino located at the southern tip of the Strip.
• Caligula's Palace Casino is a Roman themed casino and main business of The Mafia (New School).
• The Emerald Isle is the tallest building in Las Venturas and the home of the SWAT helipad and main launch point for Police.
• The Pirate's in Men's Pants casino is home to the money ship.
• Clowns Pocket, the former headquarters of the Fornicating Clowns
• K.A.C.C. Military Fuels is in north east Las Venturas and is often used for gang training
• Blackfield Chapel often gets burnt down as a sacrifice for God himself
• The Visage one of the highest building in Las Venturas whose parking lot is often used for street racing
• The Las Venturas Police Department is the central location for law enforcement operations on Chillpoint and the center of operations for TSF.

Las Venturas Mayor

congested was the first and only Las Venturas Mayor to date. He served for more than six consecutive 2-week terms which remained totally unchallenged until his resignation and subsequent assassination on September 1st, 2007.
