IRC
From Chillpoint Wiki
IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat and is a form of real-time internet chat, used mostly for group to group chats in places called channels. In order to access the IRC you need an IRC client such as mIRC XChat or Chatzilla. Mac OS 10 users may use Colloquy.
The Chillpoint IRC channel can be found on at the GTANet IRC server (irc.gtanet.com), in the channel #chillpoint. For easy access, visit this url once you have an IRC client irc://irc.gtanet.com/chillpoint
Cellphone chat from within the server goes through Punky to the people on the IRC and vice versa.
IRC Rules
In general most of the Forum Rules are enforced on the IRC. There should be no insulting or fighting on the server. As GTANet is kind enough to let us use their server, all their rules must be followed, which can be accessed by typing /rules while connected to the IRC. The operators of the IRC channel (server admins) have the right to kick or ban anyone who they feel is breaking the rules.
Bots on the IRC
Rules: There are no real rules about having your own bot in the IRC. As long as the bot is not annoying it's fine to have one.
