An event are special group gatherings where various members of the server come together to have fun. Events are usually organized by one individual or a gang of individuals and most of the time have an admin backing them help keep the order. Events organized in the Planning & Organization forum and those in the list below are protected by the Event Disruption rules

Types of Events
There is many types of events, this list is not inclusive, but all events on this list are sanctioned and protected by the event disruption rule.
Bus Trips
A driver grabs a Coach and sets up a meetings spot for the trip, usually the Four Dragons Casino and invites all users on the server to come. The driver is allowed to set the rules of what is and what isn't allowed on the trip and admins will enforce these rules whenever possible. Some trips act as tours of San Andreas including multiple stops, and others have one ending location. Popular travel spots are Santa Maria Beach in Los Santos, Mt. Chiliad, and Jizzy's Club in San Fierro
Cross-Country Races
These are long distance races that travel between various cities. These races usually focus on endurance rather then speed. It is recommended that the event host either watches the racers from the Maverick himself or hire someone to do it.
Foot Races
These races occur only on foot or swimming, they are usually lapped or marathon style with linear track. Security is recommend to prevent cheating such as shortcuts.
Triathlons
In strict definition a triathlon must consist of 3 types of races, usually foot, swimming and biking, but in Chillpoint they can include more events and may replace biking with car racing. The event, Thugaton, is a type of triathlon on Chillpoint.
Destruction Derby
The goal of a destruction derby is to destroy the other opponents’ cars. Derbies can be held in many different locations such as the airports, fields, etc. The event organizer stipulates the rules such as if shooting is allowed and can players grab another car if theirs explodes.
Skydiving
Skydiving is something that can be done as a group event by using the skydiving commands and visiting the "Abandoned Airstrip" in Bone County.
Fighting
These events are organized fights between users. These must be held outside the city limits of Las Venturas, either in the country, desert, Los Santos or San Fierro
Boxing
Boxing takes place in the Los Santos Gym between two Boxers. Boxers may punch and guard, but cannot kick or stomp. The match is either over when one player has low health or one of the boxers dies, its up the event organizer's discretion.
Martial Arts
Martial Arts takes place in the San Fierro gym between two Martial Arts fighters (a Civilian skin). Martial arts may include punching and guarding as well as kicking, but no stomping. The fight is over when either of the fighters has low health or dies or one fighter is knocked out of the ring, these rules can be varied by the event host.
Fight Club
Fight Club is an outdoor fight that includes the use of melee weapons such as the knife, bat, and golf club. These usually take place in odd locations, such as the forest, on top of buildings, or in dark alleys. These are always privately organized and each fighter is invited in private. Every type of attack is allowed, including stomping. A player can show up in skin, but it is good to show up as some kind of hobo, redneck, or nasty looking person to add to the atmosphere.
Manhunt
Manhunt is a more mature version of hide and seek with weapons. The event participants are split into two groups, the hunters and the hunted. The hunted can be one individual or a team of individuals. Manhunt usually takes place in the forests around Mt. Chiliad for additional hiding places. Both teams must turn off their radars and not use them during the hunt. Hunters are only allowed the chrome (police) shotgun and desert eagle and the hunted are left without weapons. Both groups are dropped off via helicopter at random points in the forest and hunted must make it to a designated point before the hunters manage to kill them.
Hostage
Hostage is a game set up similar to the basic premise of Counter-Strike. There is a team of terrorists and counter-terrorists and one hostage. The event usually takes place in the underground section of Area 69. The terrorists hide the hostage in an area and keep them from being rescued by the counter-terrorists. The counter-terrorist must either kill all the terrorists or escort the hostage from their holding point to the exit of the zone to win the game. The teams generally switch sides after each game.
Hide And Seek
Hide and seek is an indoor event where players hide in different areas of an interior, while one designated player searches for them.
