From Chillpoint Wiki

The Chillpoint Awards is an annual event revolving around awards that are given to different players of the server for different things, the winners of the awards are decided by votes in the weeks prior to the event on the Chillpoint forums that are sent through private messages.

2007 Chillpoint Awards

The 2007 Chillpoint Awards was hosted and co-hosted by S1lv3r_Wolf and Vert respectively, just like last year's awards, the event was a big success. The 2007 edition was a revolutionary step into award winning, having a big evolution towards the number of awards (25 awards in the 2007 edition, 13 in the 2006 edition), the way users were inducted into the Hall of Fame (Hall of Fame turned more formal instead of just an award). The 2007 edition was held in the Mafia Office in Los Santos.

Chillpoint Hall of Fame

In the 2007 edition, the Chillpoint Hall of Fame turned from an award to an honor, players that enter the Chillpoint Hall of Fame are players that had an impact on Chillpoint and it's community, this year's Hall of Fame inductees were:

2006 Chillpoint Awards

Carlito created and hosted the event with the help of many people. Players, however, casted votes to a user known as "Carlito", a now banned player and a cheater since long before the election. Since it is now known that Carlito had been cheating prior to the voting the accuracy of the following awards are questionable. Some theorize a wiki vote or an admin conducted vote would have been the best means of maintaining accuracy, unfortunately since this did not happen the awards as followed are that as dictated by Carlito (who managed to somehow win several direct and indirect awards.). The 2006 edition was held in the Las Venturas Banditos' Baseball Stadium

Chillpoint Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame award was an award for an inspirational player or admin that had done good for the community. This person made a good impression on the Chillpoint community as a whole and he was recognized for it. The Chillpoint voters awarded it to xxx. He was the mastermind of the server's script in 2006. Without this man, Chillpoint probably wouldn't had been Chillpoint. He did his work solo often, and was always polite, nice, open for suggestions and grateful.
