The administrators, admins for short, are the users chosen to help enforce the rules on the server and make sure everything is running smoothly.

Owners/Scripters

This team runs, created and hosts the Chillpoint community.

  • Hans - The founder of the server. Also responsible for setting up the website, wiki and original IRC channel.
  • LordDufito - Developer and scripter of the New Chillpoint.
  • FrankZZ - Developer and scripter of the New Chillpoint.
  • xxx - The old scripter and the old host of the server. (xxx has stopped contact to Chillpoint)

Crew

This team helps run day to day operations on the server, website, IRC and wiki. These are the admins who are often on the server and deal with the players. You will usually find yourself interacting with these admins.

Can I Be Admin?

Short answer? No. Long answer? No. If you ask to be admin you are automatically disqualified from being given the chance to be an admin. Admins are chosen by other admins after reviewing their behavior on the server and website, sizing up whether they know all the rules, are respectful of all users, and are able to handle the responsibility of being an admin. Admins who are chosen are often able to speak clearly and know English as this is an English speaking server. If a person meets these qualifications then they may be asked if they want the job. It is a pretty long process and it takes a lot of work by the current admins to decide on a new one.

Wiki and IRC

Chillpoint will sometimes bring more users in to help out with the Wiki (sysops) and IRC (half-ops). However these people are not considered admins on the server and website, unless they appear in the official admin list.
