Website upgrade (posted by Hans)
I just upgraded the CMS software to the latest version. As far I can see/test now, the bug when loading a big topic in the forums is solved.
Some other things:
- You can rate photos in the photo gallery
- You can submit your own pictures
- Some exploit leaks are closed
- Site loads faster!
If you encouter any bugs, please let me know.

For those of you who haven't noticed it yet, then new gamemode is up and running :)
Most of the things are running smoothly, however there are some small issues you should know about
The anti cheat part is a bit sensitive and could kick you by mistake. Everything we could think of has been done to avoid this, but remember, both samp and this script are in beta stage, and there are some things that can't be avoided at all or are very hard to avoid.
this we know about, and you should to:
- 1. lill probe in property. will trigger movement cheat -- fixed
- 2. jizzy's night club property. will trigger movement cheat -- fixed
- 3. sherman dam property. will trigger movement cheat -- fixed
- 4. repeated spam of welcome message (before first spawn while you change class) -- fixed
- 5. pausing the game while moving (like checking map) will lead to kick. this will stay this way. -- always avoid it
(note to above: in my attempt to keep it nice and tight with coordinates i once again got slapped in the face by the samp engine, and need to loosen them up a bit more. the coords can still trigger falsly but not at all as often. another update is scheduled for tomorrow)
I think an innocent kick or two while keeping the server clean from cheaters is an acceptable price we have to pay, so it'll stay armed for now and be improved on every update.
Of course if you can find a bug and can reproduce it, use the report tool as usual to make sure it's taken care of as soon as possible.

Waadddaaap!
Just wanna say that I'm working my a** of trying to get the next release ready for ya guys. It's already taken 2 days longer than planned but thats mostly cause i can't stop adding things. :P
Since it is a pretty big update and you'll have plenty of new things to play around with, we'll have to test it properly before updating on the server. But it's on the way!
and...
...about minigun posts: We know about the 'makes it look like you did it' minigun hack, don't worry to much about getting banned. Use the vote system and kick them, that's what it's for =)
...about accounts being 'erased': I know about this and it'll be fixed when the new gamemode is online, at the latest. No need to post about it. The accounts are still available for me to restore, but not active.

I just want to thank everyone that participated in the big test of today. We didn't find the bug that causes the crashes yet, but I think we are a bit closer of locating it.
Another think I wanted to mention is that I put the official server official server rules online.
For the people that don't pay attention, the server is now back on the 'old' server, at 129.125.29.92:7777 for testing purposes.

Believe it or not, my ISP gave me another IP! Grr.
This means the second IP change in less than a month! I wish I could do anything about it.
Anyway, the new IP is: 82.73.31.94 The good news is, that it's quite fast again!

I'm currently experiencing some trouble with my ISP. When I got news that things work again, I'll post it at the website.

Random server crashes (posted by Hans)
We're currently exeriencing a lot of server crashes when the server is getting crowded. I personally (some others dont;-) think it has something to do with the fact that it's running on linux. So, now, for testing, I put the server on my own windows machine.
It's IP is: 82.73.33.216:7777
So PLEASE join that one to test if this one will crash as well!

Some bugs found (posted by Hans)
As expected there are some things that needs to be fixed. The server is up, but password protected, so the developer can look at it without getting disturbed.
It has something to do with a difference with timers in windows and linux, we're looking for a solution right now. I'll update any progress at the website, so watch this website frequently!

Chillpoint Special is a fact! (posted by Hans)
Good news! The current version is reaching open beta status!
That means you can join and see the gamemode yourself. Remember, this is just a BETA, there could be some bugs in it that could annoy you. We would be very pleased if you report these bugs at the website, so we can fix them a.s.a.p!
You may register yourself at the server to get your money and weapons saved, you'll have to play for 90 minutes first though.
The IP and port are still the same, 129.125.29.92:7777

Hiya patient people!
I'm glad I can inform you that we're currently private testing the new gamemode, to make sure there are no major bugs found before it will be in open beta fase.
I'm afraid I cannot tell you when it will be in open beta, but I don't except that it will be much longer now! Countdown begins!
All the classes and their specialities are done except hitman and bodyguard. Those two won't be in the beta first, it needs to be thought through better. Now it's just about finetuning and debugging the current commands. I can't wait..

Because of the delays of the final version of the Chillpoint Special gamemode, I decided to let you guys get used to the new vehicle list. So, untill the new script is done, you can join the 'old' gamemode at 129.125.29.92:7777 to play with all the vehicles that will be in the Chillpoint Special, but with the old Moneygrub+Landgrab script.
