The term cleanup is used in Wikis to refer to editing that is meant to make the article more presentable. Usually articles will be marked with the cleanup template when they have spelling/grammar errors, problems with their formatting, or just need edits in order to make the article more suitable for a wiki.
When marking an article for cleanup, it is good practice to note in the talk page what you feel needs to be cleaned up. The talk page can also be used to discuss various cleanup techniques that can be applied to the article.
All users are encouraged to edit articles that need cleanup. If you are unsure about your edit, be sure to consult the talk pages for any advice from fellow users.
